Police in Italy have issued footage of a man who is suspected of hypnotising supermarket checkout staff to hand over money from the cash tills.

In every case the last thing they remember is the thief, who has been captured on CCCTV, leaning over and saying,"Look into my eyes," before finding their tills empty!

And not what is commonly believed, in professional circles, about hypnotism. A professional hypnotherapist, psychiatrist, whatever, will tell you, and rightly so most of the time, that people can not be hypnotised against their will and without their knowledge and cooperation.

Still, Rasputin was reported to have eerie powers so I don't entirely disbelieve it all. But if I were the police, I would definitely look into the finances of all the cashiers that have supposedly been mesmerized against their will. Seems to me there might be some collusion going on here.
