Longing For Lipo?

Liposuction | plastic surgery

I've never seriously considered plastic surgery. Liposuction, now that's a different matter. Moving from my 20s to my 30s took my lithe and lanky frame away, and this process was not helped by childbirth.

Since I know that diet and exercise are key to keeping fit (no matter what they tell you), I've been watching what I eat and trying to exercise ever since. But it's hard, because I love food. So every time I'm carrying a few pounds too many (plus the post-childbirth blubber ring that passes for my waist), I've thought on and off about shortcuts such as lipo. A quick way to get rid of the fat and then I'd lead a blameless life.

But I know myself well. One day I'd be unable to resist a chocolate cookie or 10 and then I'd be on the slippery slope to extra pounds. Then I would have wasted my money. {sigh} Guess I'd better do it the hard way after all.

This post was inspired by a web release from RodeoDrivePlasticSurgery.com, a new centre on the world famous LA street. Run by Los Angeles plastic surgeon Lloyd Krieger, the modern plastic surgery centre offers liposuction, face lifts and breast augmentation in a luxurious setting.
