Sit here and calculate
How long will it take
To turn what I create
Into a viable money crate.

Analyze and conceptualize
The earnings micro sized
Pennies as the average prize
Will that ever begin to capitalize?

I never before saw I must admit
Earnings at the level of such minor pits
But I didn’t really expect it
To earn even those little minor bits.

And those little money bits
Have been nice little tips
Driving on a writing work alcoholic
Going happily joyfully psychotic.

And hey maybe with a little luck
I can get out of the muck
Of surviving buck to buck
Once the money bits add up.

Patience that’s the game
And writing can’t be lame
Then life may not stay the same
Maybe I can win this game!

If it doesn’t happen it’s just as swell
That my written word will stay instilled
Swirling around in the internet well
Like a caveman’s prehistoric tale.

And maybe in 20 years I can retire
Those little bits grew much higher
Creating more gladness in being a writer
Helping feed the beautiful endless fire
Of people’s internet entertainment desires.
