I was so glad to see that a major news network was reporting on Lindsay Lohan's infamous underage drinking. This has been a real serious problem for her, and it shows why there are laws against drinking and driving.

There have been numerous reports of her drinking at clubs for years now. And it amazes me that nothing has been done about it, when the photos are right there. I guess the rich can get away with a lot. And a lot of these celebrities think they can do whatever they want. It has got to stop.

Finally, I think the news networks are taking this seriously. We have laws against underage drinking for a reason. A a young, barely out of her teens, girl is not equipped to be drinking. Much less driving after drinking.

I have to think that a lot of this comes from the lack of positive parenting she had in her life. Look at the example her mother has set for her. Her mother doesn't deserve the title. From the way I see things, her mother has used her over the years. Instead of being a mother to her, she has used Lindsay's social status to party and spend money. Then has the nerve to brag about what good friends they are?
Her mother is a disgrace to all women. Then, to have a father in prison as well. It's almost sad, and I am sure it has been a long, hard road. But until she gets herself straight, she is nowhere near the end of that road.

I would imagine that when you are a celebrity you need parental support even more then the average kid. And how can anyone get parental support from a woman that parties all the time and a father in prison? And eventually children from homes like this grow up, and this is the result.

I really hope things start to change for the better. Just because someone has played in a few movies, shouldn't meet they have rights that the rest of the population doesn't have. And it doesn't mean they should be able to do illegal things and everyone just turns the other cheek. If that is the way of the "rich and famous", I will stick to my normal, everday boring life thank you very much.
