Anyone else use a lexmark inkjet printer?

I purchased mine last year at Wal-Mart for around $60.00. It does not have a scanner. I was pleased with how easy it is to use. I'm not that pleased with the quality. I'm really not pleased at all with the cost of the ink.

I use my printer alot, but not for pictures. I generally replace my ink cartridge every 3 weeks. At the local walmart here, the cartridge is just under $20.00, not including tax.

That really adds up. I thought I was getting such a great deal, but not once you add in the cost of the cartridge. It uses the Lexmark #1 cartridge.

Plus, my pictures don't print out great at all.

I have another printer that has the scanner etc in it. But one of the inks is plugged up or something so I haven't been able to use it all for over a year.

Does anyone know of a great place to buy the #1 cartridges for less than $20.00?
