Laptop Means a New Life

Laptop computers have become the great answer for much of the world's misery.

People with limited education can revolutionize their lives with a laptop. They can learn to read on it, create on it and slowly join in with the rest of the mainstream public.

It doesn't take a new machine to do the job and it doesn't have to be expensive. I have an old Toshiba laptop that I have had to rebuild several times as various viruses have wiped out data on my hard drive. But in each case, I had the presence of mind to back up the data on an extyernal drive and simply used the original programming disks (which you should always make sure and save!) on hand.

I have found Circuit City to be the best, most straightforward and easiest shop to deal with vis-a-vis laptops. Next in line in CompUSA. The most abysmal by far has been Best Buy. Their salespeople ignore you, and prices are unrealistic.
