Krum Kuchen

Sift together 4 cups of flour,
2 cups of sugar,
4 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Cut in 1 cup of butter until pieces are like rice kernels.
Set aside 1 cup of mixture.
Add to crumbs 4 egg yolks,
beaten and 1 cup of milk. Stir until moistened.
Add 4 egg whites, beaten stiff. Fold into batter until blended. Turn into pan and sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Bake in a 9x13x2 inch pan (greased). For 25 to 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
Mix together 1/4 cup of melted butter and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and drizzle over warm cake.
