Kicking The Trail Mix Habit
I love trail mix. At least I used to love trail mix. For quite sometime I had noticed subtle changes in my favorite brand of trail mix, but out of habit, I continued to grab a bag whenever I shopped at a store that stocked them.
Then I noticed that the size of the already small bag Iusually purchased, was shrinking. 14 ounces, 12 ounces, 8 ounces, and finally a measley 6 ounces. If only the price had shrunk along with the size of the bag, I could have tossed a couple of bags in, and everything would have come out even, but the price seemed to be moving in the opposite direction. I already considered trail mix an expensive treat, but justified it by telling myself that at least it was a healthy one.
In the last few weeks, that favorite brand I was telling you about, which used to contain 5 or 6 different kinds of nuts, a few chocolate chips, some dried banana slices, and an occasional m&m to add some color, has changed drastically.
The last one I bought had almost all peanuts, a few "too tough to chew" burnt almonds, gobs of stale raisens, and 2 m&ms. I can tell you, they won't be getting any more of my money, even though having a constant pack for nibbling purposes beside my computer is a habit that is going to be very difficult to break. If any of you have kicked the trail mix habit, please give me suggestions to help me through this sure to be awful time of withdrawal.

On the trail of trail mix
I always mix my own. It doesn't take long and you get exactly what you like. don't you hate it when a company gets greedy and downgrades a product you like? I said something in a blog about the same sort of thing in a computer programme that used to be way ahead of the competition but not only hasn't kept up with the improvements in other products but has removed some good features of the original.
If the value of each human being is equal to the value of the one you love why would you ever participate in killing by war or any other activity with deadly intent. http://bloggerparty.com/blog/xingtiao (general but centred on China) http://www.soulcast
Oh, I know what you
Oh, I know what you mean...... Lots of things are getting smaller while the price gets bigger. I would like to think it's just temporary, but common sense tells me that things are only going to get more expensive. Thanks for sharing.
