I first discovered Karen Marie Moning when I started reading her "Highlander" series. She is an amazing paranormal/supernatural romance author.

In the last weeks, I started on her "Fever" series. You can see a music video here. These books are about a small-town girl who's sister was studying in Ireland. She ends up murdered. It's not a typical type murder.

After traveling to Ireland to try to find why her sister was killed, MacKayla Lane soon learns she can see in the Fae realm. She meets a man that helps to teach her who and what she is. Yet, she doesn't know who or what he is. Not to mention the death-by-sex fairy that keeps appearing.

These books have all kinds of supernatural twists and turns. You never know what's going to come at you next. It contains horror, action, and excitement.

The "Fever" series contains two books so far. Darkfever and Bloodfever

This morning, I found out that Darkfever is being turned into a movie. Baseline StudioSystems review is as follows;
"When American teen travels to Ireland to track down her sister's murderer, she is sucked into an extraordinary world filled with ancient secrets, vampires, and Faeries."

At this point, there isn't a whole lot of information available about production. Knowing that there is going to be a movie is exciting enough. I can't wait to watch it.
