Technorati ProfileCoca Cola is so bad for you. There is absolutely no reason to drink it yet most of us do. Myself included, though I have been trying to cut down. Dang, makes me feel kind of like a drug attic when I say I'm trying to cut down. It kind of is like a drug I guess. Anyways, here are some interesting facts you should know about Coke. Many you will start drinking more water instead, which is essential to your body.
In many states in the United States the Highway Patrol carry 2 gallons of Coke in their trunk to clean up blood stains in the road that may have been caused by a auto accident. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke and it will be gone in two days.
To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.
To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.
To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of Coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains.
Coke will also clean road haze from your windshield.

The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about four days. Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis.
To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the "Hazardous Material" place cards reserved for highly corrosive materials.
The distributors of Coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!

We've cleaned rust
on more than one occasion with Coca Cola. The funny thing is that the Coca Cola brand products are the only ones that will clean that good. There is far more acid in their brand.
My husband works with a man that no has pretty much no lining to his stomach from drinking too many Coca Cola products. Since hearing of this, we've started drinking it a lot less often; and when we do drink it, we usually go with a different brand.

yeah, when you know how bad it is for you it really makes you think twice about drinking the stuff. My wife doesn't let any of my four kids drink soda at all. She will get mad sometimes because they will sneak and take a drink of mine. I do drink soda, not like I used to at all though. Could you imagine if you went to the past hundreds of years ago and offered someone a glass of coke, when you would pour it from the can into the glass they would hear all the fizzling sound it makes and think your giving them some kind of magic potion, it's not natural for our bodies. They might think your a witch!
