June is my Favorite Month

June is my favorite month of the year for several reasons. First of all, my birthday is on June 13th. Father's Day is celebrated in this month (and I love my daddy)! The first day of summer is in June and so is solstice!

June is also national rose month. Really, I'm not kidding. Funny, because I love roses. I actually have three rose bushes. I love their vibrant color and their sweet fragrance! Did you know that a red rose means passionate love? (I guess that is why they are so popular during Valentine's Day). The colors of flowers each hold different meanings, the worst being yellow for unfaithfulness. Make sure you ask your florist about the meanings of the colors before you send flowers online. You don't want to send the wrong message!

June is and always will be my favorite month. It's the end of a school year, the beginning of summer and my father's birthday! Hurray for the month of June, so many good times to celebrate...
