YO's rating: A+ | While this is an impressive effort, full of research and expertise, it also shatters some of the old "assumptions" about AKB48's Teams A and K as the "varsity" teams, and Team B being relegated to "JV" status. That was certainly the situation back in January, but, my, how things change in the course of three months. This is good, actually, since AKB48 is now much deeper talent-wise, and if J-Pop Obsession is anywhere near accurate about the surge of Team B, then all of Tokyo will rejoice. In any event, AKB48 needs to be more accessible -- and the company's wota-prized DVDs need to be less pricey!
