Jonathan Schulze,,,Dead Marine from Suicide. Victim of war.

One Voice's picture

The war in Iraq I believe is the right thing to do. I of all people will never forget 9-11-2001. That is the only reason we are there. It is my belief however, that our troops both there and here at home should be given the utmost care for injuries both physical and emotional. We have lost so many men and women for this cause, and it is really hard.. What is harder is when they come home to be with the family and friends they left and not get care they desperately need... How can we let this happen? How do people of the medical profession not read the signs and help even when our troops don't know they need it???

Tragedies of war is not new to the American people. We know all to well what war is and the loss of troops starting with WWI... Does that mean that we can just let our troops, ALL troops suffer here in America?? It is a real problem, affecting so many men and women from past and present combats...

I am not against the war, I know it is not something that is easy and it never will be... I just think that the Congress and President should have a plan in place that will treat the emotional welfare of ALL troops. Both here at home and in the line of fire. It is life changing to our troops. There is no way to really prepare for what they see and do when in battle... And when one of our very own comes home, seeks help,,, we should.. No matter what or where they would need to go...

God be with all the families who have war heroes, both alive and lost...

just a thought...
