My mother was only in 7th grade when president Kennedy was assassinated but she says she remembers it like it was yesterday. She can remember were she was at the time what she was doing and thinking. She told me that it was the first time in her life that she experienced pure evil even though she was just a kid watching on TV she felt angry helpless, fearful but mostly sad. It was definitely a life changing event for my mother and she is not alone many people alive at that time will tell you the same thing.
