Jesus, the Center of My Joy

"Jesus, you're the center of my joy.
All that's good and perfect comes from you.
You're the heart of my contentment,
Hope for all I do.

There are many sources of pleasure in the world today.
Some pleasures are momentary. Some are long-lasting. Some are spontaneous. Some are planned. No pleasure, however, can compete with the pleasure that comes from having an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

What brings heartaches and sadness, anyway? Sin. If we can manage to get the sin out of our lives, we would not be plagued with life's miseries. We may still have problems, but we will be able to cope with them in a positive way. We would experience peace instead of turmoil.
The problem is, we cannot rid ourselves of this plague of sin. We need Jesus, the one who never sinned, to help us.
If we will allow Him, He will cleanse us from all sin. Sin is the underlying problem in all of the troubles that life offers. Get rid of sin and experience real living. Forget about having fun. Having joy is where it's at.
