Janet Jackson ordered by Virgin Records to lose twenty pounds or else!
An overweight Janet Jacckson was ordered to lose at least twenty pounds or her new album will not be released in September as scheduled. There has been much specualtion as to the cause of her weight gain. The article elaborates on her troubles for the last two years beginning with the superbowl halftime show fiasco and ending with the media circus surrounding her brother's child molestation trial.
Now, let's be relistic about this weight gain. Celebrities that have to stay fit, lean and are constantly paraded on the media probably hardly get to eat. For the most part, a normal American can sit down and eat without the guilt of worrying about gaining an extra pound or two that will definitely show up before the camera. (The camera that ADDS 10 pounds.)
I don't understand why people wonder why female celebrities gain so much weight during their pregnancies. What other time, but in their pregnancy can someone like Jennifer Garner (that spends more time in ab revealing clothing than anything else) eat to her heart's content. At what other time can these women indulge in ice cream, bread and sugar? Most of these women eat a diet that consists of proteins and is completley void of sugar, grains and carbohydrates.
Janet Jackson must be enjoying food. Give her a break, let her be human. Soon she will have to count the calories, do crunches until she cramps and deny herself any decadent edibles.
For once, I am grateful that I am not a celebrity. The one thing I can be happy about is that I can say yes to that last piece of decadent triple chocolate cake!
