Last night I attended a free Harmonic Wealth seminar with James Ray. I have a lot to say about the many topics he discussed but for now I would like to share one key concept to transforming your life and how it relates to health and fitness. If you want to make a change you have to go three for three.
Three for three? What three?
I am glad you asked. The three are thought, feeling and action. To make a change you must do so on all three levels.
Here's how this relates to fitness. I have noticed over the years how two clients with the same goals and starting points can follow the same exercise program yet one client will reach their goal and maintain it and the other will not. Their actions were the same but their thoughts and feelings were very different.
One saw herself as already having achieved her goal. She felt good about it. She lived from that place of perfect health. She believed in herself.
The other questioned her ability, questioned my expertise, analysed every step of her program, thought about how she was overweight, and felt guilty about the foods she ate. Her actions were healthy but her thoughts and feelings were stuck on what she didn't want.
Guess which one reached and maintained her goal, and did so almost effortlessly.
Your thoughts, feelings and actions must all be about your perfect health and weight. You must see yourself as strong and act accordingly. You must feel healthy and confident. You must think you are thin and toned.
What else can you do?
