It's Too Early For Christmas

I couldn't believe it when I saw what my latest writing theme was to be. Surely, I thought, it's too early to be writing about gift baskets and Christmas gifts? It is only September, after all.

Does anyone really want to hear Gourmet Gift Baskets' information about Jolly Old St Nick? We've still got Halloween and Thanksgiving to get through (or Bonfire Night if you're in the UK).

So I'm not going to talk about it. I'm not ready to buy presents, hang mistletoe or sing carols. You'll just have to start without me.
