Granted it is not sticking...yet. But this morning has brought us the season's first snow. It has been a light shower of tiny flakes all morning and so pretty to look at. this is the one thing I love about living in the Northwest....teh four seasons. growing up in LA I only had summer year round, which is great in its own right, but far from festive.

I can't wait for it to start sticking (if it decides to) so that I can take my son out to the backyard and take some pics. I am late in getting the Christmas cards made, and yes we do the cheesy picture kind....that's something I swore I would never do, then I had a kid and figured that the family loves getting this type of thing...so there you go. And I would love to hang out in some powder and play with him too....but I have bronchitis, so common sense and the doctor are prescribing that I stay indoors as much as possible. Bummer. Looks like we'll be taking our boy up to the mountain again this year to play in some real snow! Even if what we have here sticks it won't be more than a couple of inches at best....and not much for building snow men!!
