In yoga studios of suburban Delhi, asanas are the new way to better sexuality as more and more people are discovering that practising yoga leads to better sex.
According to Delhi-based yoga expert Mini Shastri, Surya Namaskar every morning ushers in a sacred sexual connection.
“Surya Namaskar is a combination of 12 different poses, like back bends and forward bends. These manoeuvres contract and expand the nerves to the pelvic girdle, which is your sexual core. This stimulates your sexual hormones and helps achieve a new sexual equilibrium. Kundalini yoga is also beneficial for a better sex life. For instance, vrkasana, or the scorpio pose, helps your reproductive organs,� she explains.
