It is a Commercial Dog Gone it . . . Missy Implied

On the 3rd blog entry, you read about Missy's bone, but do not doubt that Missy had one great sense of humor, or maybe insistance of personality would be a better description.
One night in the mid 80s, my late mother and I were setting and watching TV. Our favorite show was Magnum, PI, and it was a show we waited with anticipation each week to see. Our pjs were on, coffee fixed, lights turned down, and the dial turned to the correct station for our show. Missy was setting quietly on her bed, and eventually settled in for the 1 hour Magnum, PI.
It seems that sometime during the show she had drank all of her water, well let us say it was hard to take our eyes off the TV when Tom Selleck was on. A 75 lb dog can drink a lot, but we always made sure it was full - she was family you know. As the credits were rolling, a loud bark came from the kitchen. Mom and I turned around and Missy was making her intentions and disgust known. We watched as she planted firmly her paw into the middle of her dog bowl, and slid it to the kitchen sink, stood up on her back paws, and barked LOUDLY at the faucet.
I have never laughed as much as I did that night at our Missy! Okay, we got the point, Missy! What a dog she was! We were lucky though, at least she waited until the end of Magnum.
