Is today all we have ?

this is my first time doing this!!!!

today i am writing to let others out there that there are people like me who the education system would say is not very smart because i can't take tests well or pass them.

i have a learning disability that makes spelling and writing so very hard for me and i say me because some one else who is LD might not have the same problem. this is just my story. i am also 18yrs clean & sober. i have been doing a lot of reading and talking with other to find out as much as i can about what to do about my life.

i would like to hear back from others who have been sober and have LD also. but please do not preach to me or others just tell your story. i don't like to preach and i don't want anyone to preach to me.

some of what i have read about is how school were started my people who want to train people to be worker and soldier.

there are a lot of people who do not make good worker and soldiers with i am one. but now i have to find out what i can do with my life so i can make an income to live on.

so far i have tried working for others and i have been a soldier and they have not worked for me.

how i want to start some kind of business to live on and then start my own program for kids who think different than what school try to make them think.

i feel most of us have something that we are nature at and that is what we could be doing. not just working for someone to make a paycheck.

for most of us we are just follower because most of us live in fear.

fear keeps me not doing the things i could and want to do because i don't think and am smart enough.

i have a GED education and yet i know doctor and lawyer who i feel don't have the sense that i have . those are the people school works for which is not to say are not smart just in a different way.

i experience shows me that those type of people get the high paying job because they did good in school and know how to take tests well.

most man in prisons today are man who can't read and write well enough to make it on the outside world so they turn to drugs and alcohol
. or some just stay there because as sad as it sound that is some that will take care of them. i know that does not sound good but it is true.
