Friday, April 7, 2006- We met with Dr. Talton at his office in Tupelo about 10:00AM. All of the reports have confirmed a green light for the surgery, so there is no good reason for delay.

I will check into the hospital at 9AM Tuesday, and the surgery will take place about noon. The length of the operation depends on the results of the biopsy, but shouldn't exceed a couple of hours. Dr. Talton assured me that the maximum amount of sedation and the minimum amount of catheter will be used.

I feel pretty good about it and just want to get it over with. I'm sure JoAnn feels the same way. Neither of us could have anticipated this, but she has been very brave and considerate, and now let's get it over with get on with our lives.

In case you readers didn't already suspect it, I'm very much in love with my wife. We have a wonderful extended family of children, grand children, great grand children, formers, friends and neighbors, and we have a lot of fun times ahead. Let's get it on, Bubba.
