1. US is the Director of the film "THE WORLD 21c C.E".

2. USD is the world's currency. (In spite of
squirmishes with Euro).

3. US Banks rule the world.

4. US Books rule the world.

5. US Oil Companies control the world's Oil.

6. US has its faithful dogs: UNO and its organs.

What baffles:

US is enamoured by the nightmares of Al Qaida and Islamic terrorism.

9/11, the Kenya-Mombasa Hotel explosion, The Bali explosion etc. are only some individualised incidents. They are like a street urchin throwing a stone and breaking a window-pane of a house.

Not that, these urchins are to be overlooked. The US has enraged youth groups to turn into hooligans.
The problem has become complicated. The air raids on civilian homes generated alround hatred towards US. The cluster bombs made even children enemies.

US is neither a monster nor a cannibal. But it earned that fame without gaining much in terms of security. The President seems to be spending 24/7/365 of his time thinking of subduing Iran, Venezuela, Syria. All his energies focus only on convincing this Head of State or that Head of State.

Is Bush seeing his own image in mirror and getting threatened?

Domestic problems?
Katrina?
Unemployment?
Loss of export markets?
Stagnating production of manufactured goods?

All these things might have already been discussed in length and by now become stale. Yet, people have to review these things in their mind everyday. Because: One Hitler could demolish the whole Germany and reduce it into splinters in a decade. Rejuvenation took five decades. For action of individual rulers and their consultants, citizens pay the price.

Of course, correction may be only through democratic processes. The Congress and Senate are there to control an unruly President.

A President gets eclats when in power; He becomes a satan when dethroned.

Has terrorism become so unmanageable that Heads of States are hanged and nations are vanquished?
