nindantu niitinipunaa yadi vaa stuvantu
lakshmiihi sthira bhavatu gachchhatu va yatheesht`am
adyaiva vaa maranamastu yugaantare vaa
nyayyatpathah pravichalanti padaan na dhiiraaha.

This verse is from Bhartruhari.

Whether the Goddess of Wealth (Lakshmi) accrues or leaves as per her whims,
Whether death is now or at the end of an era
Honest and spirited persons do not budge from their path of honesty
