Interesting Differences Between Men and Women and its all in our Heads!

I'm watching 20/20 the show is about the differences between men and women and how its not just sex! Our brains are different, from our time in the womb our brains develope differently. Here are some interesting tid bits that many studies and statistics have shown.

*Men Don't Listen:
The male brain has a harder time processing the female voice.
And it starts early! Studies show that male babies make less eye contact with their mothers than female babies.

*Fall Asleep After Sex? True, and it's probably due to the fact that men orgasm more often.

*Why don't women have adams apples?: We do! There less prominent because testosterone causes them to enlarge.

*Who snores more men or women? Men do snore more because they tend to drink and smoke more, they gain weight around the neck, and women have wider airways, prevents us from snoring as much.

*Men cheat more? Women are catching up! 80% of women remain faithful, while 65% of men stay faithful.

*Driving, men or women? Women are safer drivers! Men are impatient, more likely to drive drunk and take bigger risks!

*Women live longer? Yup, some say that if you took out the testosterone, the thing that makes men feel the need to do risky things (like doing wheelies on motor bikes and such) then it would even out. There's also an evolutional factor. Women have to live longer to care for children, evolutionally speaking men are sperm donors. (just kidding guys)

*Male Brain and Female Brain:
Female is nature's default setting. Interesting, huh? Then if it's a boy a serge of testosterone turns the brain into a male brain! So the female brain and male brain are different.
*As babies females have adult levels of estrogen pumping through them, and males have adult levels of testosterone. This is all while our brains are developing, it creates permenant differences!

*Women use 20,000 words a day men use 7,000.

*Girls brains are 2 years ahead durring puberty, b/c we have a stonger connections to the areas in our brains that control impulses and judgement. It just takes boys a bit longer for their brains to develope in these areas.

*Sex: 52 seconds males think about sex, girls only a few times a day.

*Men are less equipt to read emotion.

*Pregnancy-Hormones "high-jack" your (the female) brain to focus on the safety and need for your child. The brain actually shrinks durring pregnancy, almost 8%, I knew I felt ditzy!!! Don't worry it returns to normal 6 months after birth, well not exactly normal at this point our brains basically turn into a GPS system to track and protect our child.

*Men just want more sex. 30% have low sex drive or libido.

Now I'm sure we're all aware of the differences between men and women. The question is: Did society do it? Or were we just born that way. 20/20 answers the question. We were born that way!
