Insulin Inhalers Near Reality for Diabetics
Diabetics who are tired of having to explain why they have to cart around syringes, and tired of having to stick themselves with them, will welcome the advent of insulin inhalers which will soon be making their debut in Europe.
Insulin is the substance most diabetics lack, the substance that helps process blood sugars to nourish the body. Without insulin, the body would starve, and the steady bildup of sugars leads to serious health consequences.
No more. Clinical trials still have to be made in the United States before insulin inhalers are made available, but when they are, diabetics will cheer the news.
