Hola bloggers.
It's been a while since I've posted. I've been busy and haven't had a chance to more than check in and make sure things were running smoothly the past couple months.
I see that a lot of familiar faces are still around, and some not. I see some new faces, too, which is a good thing.
For the past few months, despite not actively posting, I have been coming up with plans for the future of Bloggerparty and what direction I want the site to go in.
But in doing that, I've come to realize in a lot of ways I had started disliking the direction Bloggerparty was going in. In hopes of competing with various other websites, I had started focusing on things that now, in retrospect, may have not only cheapened this site, but cheapened all the great bloggers here, too.
We all want to make money, of course. But more than that, the only thing that will keep the majority of people here is the community. THAT should be the focus.
I have a lot of plans for Bloggerparty and its future. The first and foremost, is upgrading our interface to allow for cooler and better features. From there, though, it's not just my decision. It's yours. All the bloggers who post here, Bloggerparty would be nothing without you. It's your website, too.
In the next few weeks, I'm going to be setting up a way to discuss the future of the site and get input from our members. Perhaps a forum. That way, I can see what you all feel would improve our site, help it grow, and be a place you want to spend time at, too.
