Importance of vitamins and minerals
Vitamins and minerals are very essential for human body.All food we eat provides some kind of vitamins and minerals.The daily requirement of different vitamin and mineral is different and if we are able to take the proper amount we are able to maintain our health.
Our body requires vitamins and minerals to promote the growth of our body tissue and muscles and even when we are fully grown our body requires it to maintain our health. Vitamins are important to maintain the health of our brain, heart, eyes, immune system and many parts of our body.
We take food to keep us alive.Balanced-diet has a significant role in keeping our body healthy. Our food is consist of carbohydrates,fats,protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals.Carbohydrates,fats and proteins are energy giving substances, while vitamins and minerals are compulsory to keep our cells and tissue healthy. They do not provide energy.They are necessary to generate our body tissue and cells and to prohobit them to degenarate.
