Well, thought I would check in tonight because I have a lot to do still before leaving for San Antonio on Wednesday morning. I haven't packed a darn thing, and still have a ten hour day to work tomorrow.

I am excited as I usually use my vacation time here and there, just to use it up and not lose it, but I am always at home or I work my other part time job, so it's not really a vacation.

Not this time. This time my oldest daughter and I, as well has her boyfriends mom and his sister are taking a road trip down to good old San Antonio, Texas.

The boyfriend is graduating from basic training from the Air Force.

I haven't be to too many places other than Missouri and my great state of Kansas. I went through Oklahoma City, and Miami, Oklahoma when I was a kid. My mom flew my brothers and I out to Colorado one time to visit her because she was on the road with her band and she hadn't seen us in like three months.
We went to my husbands family reunion back in 1992 which was in Tennessee.

So other than that, that is as much traveling as I have ever done. I am looking forward to seeing Lackland Air Force Base and taking pics as well as some other things that I looked up on the internet like the obvious- Alamo, and the Riverwalk, Hard Rock Cafe, and a few other things.

I am ready to go because even if there wasn't a damn thing to see, at least it's warm down there. Today we had a high of 63 degrees and by 5:00 tomorrow night it will be a whopping 17 degrees! So while everyone up here is all bundled up with coats and gloves and boots, I will be in my fashionable flip flops.

Anyway, I hope to take lots of pics and they will be posted on my MySpace page for any who want to check them out. So- happy blogging for the next 5 days, just thought I would post this so no one misses me too much, lol.
I will be back , I am way too hooked on this site to not get back here. Hell, what am I thinking, I am going to have computer withdrawls.
