Hey all:

I just received an e-mail from the folks over at "Soul Shelter" that an essay I submitted to their writing contest was judged as "runner up." My prize -- a gigantic $50!!

Fifty dollars is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, so I am grateful to the kind people at www.soulshelter.com for affording me this wonderful award.

Now that I have achieved this writing milestone-- my next goal is to win nothing less than the Nobel Prize for Literature -- I think this goal is attainable.
