“Patience is a virtue, “all good things come to people who wait, and that eternally good one “Slow and steady wins the race. I keep wondering whether these are relevant any more, patience was probably a virtue at a time when you had to wait in a line with only 2 people ahead of you and you didn’t have to battle through the traffic to get to the bank only to realize that you had just missed the manager and since it’s the weekend you will be able to meet him only on a Monday, aaargh!!
But there is nothing I can do today but come back and meet him tomorrow. So instead of fretting and getting stressed out, I will be the bigger man, and go to closest bar and have a cold glass of beer.
