I find it fascinating... this fascination with blogging.

I'm still relatively new to blogging, but I can't believe how many people are doing it. What an amazing outlet for writers.
What's cool about it is we get to rant, or praise, or just plain write a detailed account of our day to day activities. "Fed the cat, took a shower, went to work, came home, did the dishes, fed the cat again, then went to bed." I can't believe people are reading this stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting it down. I think it's great. If nothing else comes of it, we get to practice writing. And one of the best pieces of advice I've ever heard given to someone who asked, "how do I become a writer?" was "write!"
So, here we are, writing away, spilling our guts... and others are reading it. And not only reading it, but commenting on it and giving critique when it's required, or providing support when that's what is needed.
But, the best thing about blogging, I think, is that you actually become a part of something... almost like a community. Everyone gets to know each other through their daily recount of whatever trials and tribulations they may be facing. We start to recognize names, and then we begin to communicate on a pretty deep level with these people through cyberland. We even, sometimes, make new friends.
Wow... who knew?

True

There are bloggers I read everyday and bloggers who do the same for me. We send links, we share post, it is a really big nationwide/worldwide community.
