Last weekend, I packed my bag and went mountain climbing. No big deal just that it was the first adventure I embarked on for years!
I had enough of the mindless travelling to school each day. And the mundane and predictable happenings of everyday life. I wanted adventure and unknown, I wanted to feel alive and close to life, I wanted to sleep under the stars and feel my place in the world...
And so I did just that. Very bold step considering that I've not excercise much in the past months. And I was going on this trip with a batch of people I completely did not know - total strangers!
But I must really count my lucky stars. The company was great! They were friendly and warm, great company to have on such a trip. The journey was challenge but manageable, offering the right among of obstacles that's not unconquerable. And the view was simply....stunning
The most memorable moment was standing at the top of the mountain and looking at the landscape around us. The rolling of clouds over the mountains below, the vastness of the land and recognising how small we are in this world...
(Monday)
Another workday, and back to reality. But somehow, for some unknown reason, the world looks so different today...last week's life seems so far ago...wonder what adventure would I have next...can't wait...
