I would pick sad with one friend. If you think about it, one true friend is all you really need and if they were going to be there when you die, it seems almost impossible that you could be sad about it-you're dying with the person you love most.

I mean it seems like the question is opposites..i mean how can you die happy if you have nobody around you that you love?

I'm not sure I could die happy with a million enemies. Talk about paranoia! On the other hand, if I could still be happy even with a million enemies, that probably means I'm pretty well-adjusted and don't really care what anyone else thinks. So, I'd be being true to myself right up to the end.

OK. I vote for the million enemies thing.

I'd rather die with million enemies. You know, to have million enemies, that means you're extremely famous or notorious. Both will make you remembered :D

This whole premise is vague, abiguous, and just generally flawed. I mean, are we supposed to assume that 1m enemies = 0 friends and 1 friend = 0 enemies. Neither one even remotely resembles a real possibility except perhaps for a hermit who has managed to outlive everyone he's ever known except for one friend.

That being said, 1m enemies would seem to be indicative of someone who actually lived life and if 1 friend isn't enough reason to be sad I dunno what is. Basically, though, why is there any reason to read past "Would you rather die happy or sad?" Obviously something's going right if you've got 1m enemies and are still happy and if you have one and only one friend and are sad... well, duh.
