Stomach fat can be one of the most annoying things in the world because it always seems to appear at the most unfortunate of times! Right before the summer when you should be at the beach showing off your body you instead find yourself cooped up in the gym hopelessly trying to loose those last few pounds. Tip 1 - Don't Eat Too Little

If you do starve yourself then your body will go into survival mode and your metabolism will slow right down as it attempts to preserve every joule of energy it can. Without going into calculating calories (because that always gets boring) as a rough rule you should eat 6 small meals a day as opposed to 3 large ones. Your meals should compose of proteins (lean meat, fish, milk, eggs) carbohydrates (go for healthier carbohydrates such as wholemeal breads) fruit and vegetables and healthy fats (this means no fast food) These meals should be eaten every 2 - 2 and a half hours.
Tip 2 - Exercise More
Adding exercise into your daily life is one of the most important things you can do if you want to learn how to get rid of stomach fat, fast. I don't mean that you have to quit your job and chain yourself to the treadmill for five hours a day though! Instead you should aim for 30 minutes of moderate-intense physical activity a day such as jogging, stair climbing etc. On top of this you should try and add extra, light activity into your day. This could include things like taking the stairs instead of the lift, walking instead of driving short distances where possible and performing light exercise when watching the T.V (in the add breaks do some sit ups or push ups) Increasing the amount of exercise you do each day is far more important than cutting your food intake when it comes to learning about how to get rid of stomach fat fast. Exercise is much more effective at increasing your metabolic rate, especially if done in the morning.
Tip 3 - Allow Yourself A Cheat Meal Once A Week
When many people attempt to diet they completely cut out all unhealthy food from their diet. This works for a while but unless you are truly iron-willed you will start to get cravings for the foods that you swore you'd give up and eventually you start eating them again. To prevent this from happening you should allow yourself a small cheat meal once a week. Please note that I said a small cheat meal, don't ruin all your good work by eating a massive pizza, washed down with beer and followed by half a tub of ice-cream because this will undo all your progress!

What I have taught you today is just basic advice to help you avoid problems that many people often face. By not starving yourself, adding just a little bit more exercise into your day and allowing yourself a cheat meal once a week you will soon be able to discover how to get rid of stomach fat, fast.
