How to clean up a picture in Adobe

Tutorial specially made for Chat_With_Kathy.

If you would like for me to make a tutorial for one of your needs, let me know here.

This tutorial, I will teach you how to clean up a picture for anything that you don't need. For example, you want to remove birds form the sky, fishes in the sea, people from a picture, animals, etc. It's fairly simple and anyone can do it with little or no knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

Here is it step by step:

This is the image we are going to use provided by "Chat_With_Kathy." We are trying to get rid of the redness around the cloud in the top left.

Now, lets get started.
It's basically just a two step process.

1. Lets open up the image in Adobe Photoshop and select the "Healing Brush Tool" at the left of the palletes that look like a bandage. Make sure it's the "Healing Brush Tool" and not the "Spot Healing Brush Tool."

2. Now, this step is important. Make sure you follow it properly. Once you select the "Healing Brush," lets go ahead and change the brush to "80" (circled in green). Hold alt and click on an area of the picture that is completely clean(i circled in red). Now, once that is done, let's start and clicking on the red areas in the picture that we do not want(example in the dotted circles). It's very important that you dont drag, but instead click one at a time.

3. Repeat if neccessary for any other thing you may not like. However, if its something that are close to other things (i.e. this picture, the trees on the bottom) make sure its a smaller brush.
