I wrote a post in blogcatalog that let everybody know that my blog at Gaje Master Blogging was on the do-follow list. I also told everyone that this meant that they could read my post and comment with a little bit of link love to their site.

I did however, explain that I would delete any one-liner comments, spam comments, or comments that did not relate to the post. This was to make sure that they read the post and were not there to just get some link-love.

The results where huge. I got a heap of traffic to my site and I also got a lot of feedback from what everyone thought about it and the post within. I guess that this proves that a little bit of advertisement helps a lot.

My traffic went up and the ones who did not comment, sent me a message via the contact form on my page. I am still having issues with my feed but I do advise everyone to book-mark it until I get this problem fixed.

So, here goes. Post your site often and tell people about it. I hate spam so don't go around spamming the dickens out of everyone, this is just not cool.
