It's only been recently that I've found myself getting into red wine. Before, I just wasn't taking the time with it to understand it, and I came from sugary college wine coolers to sweet white wines. Needless to say, reds aren't really as sweet as white. They usually have more complex flavors. I recently tried a carmenere with the taste of chocolate, coffee, and leather, and it was amazing. I need to pick up a few more bottles.

Now that I've been getting into red wines, I'm dying to go to Paris, the land of good wine. Sure, there's a bunch of sights, but I'm not sure that Paris would be "my city". It's a little flashy in appearance. Don't get me wrong. If someone were to offer me a trip to France, complete with a France hotels stay, I wouldn't turn it down. :D

I would love to go to Paris someday, because I don't think it's quite fair of me to judge it without having been there. I'll find some nice Paris hotels and go view the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and catacombs. After there, it's off to the Nice, and a short stay in some Nice hotels for more wine.
