There really do not seem to be any difference between homosexual and heterosexual relationships with regard to longevity. There are many homosexual relationships that last just as long as heterosexual ones. Maybe more of them. I feel that society makes it difficult in a lot of the world for homosexuals to be themselves. So when they meet their "soulmates" they might just be very happy to have met and will make more of an effort to make the relationship work.
