Hmmm......Making Money at This Blogging Thing?
Yes, I enjoy the sheer writing of it all, and yes I love reading the comments and posts that other writers on here leave. But I do like the thought of making some extra cash on the side while doing this ( I have a kid for the love of God & another on teh way, and those don't come cheap!).....hence I've signed up for Bloggingads and Blogitive, but I never seem to get offers....maybe one or two a month. Annoying. I'm just wondering how some of my bloggerparty compadres boost their blog ad offers from these companies....I'll take any tips that I can get! Oh, and thanks in advance! :-)

It works better if you have
It works better if you have more than one blog. That way you have more chances of getting an ad task. I have 6 blogs, and the most tasks I've had in a week is 5.
You might consider joining BlogFeast, which is similar to Bloggerparty, it just has a bit more action so to speak.

i've always thought...
(and still do) that your blog has the potential to be wildly popular. with the right hosting locale & marketing... readers would come in droves. :)
or course i think that about a lot of blogs (mine included)... and yet i realize that getting there is easier said than done.
so onto your question about other sites... i know there has been a lot of talk about payperpost... but what i like about them is that they ALWAYS have lots of offers. of course you have to meet their requirements, and they don't accept bp posts, but i think last time i checked they claimed to accept myspace blogs as well.
then there's always associated content. the trick there is figuring out the kind of articles they like on that site (think "popular topics") and going with that. if your articles attract readers your offers will double. plus they pay something like 3x a week... so there's no long waits for payment.

your compliment totally made my day...thanks! i have been such a slacker on here lately cuz i've been sick as a dog, so i've felt my writing suffer from it. and i really coudl and should get out and try to sign up my blog with other sites.....i just have to get re-motivated! lol! i do write for AC, but then again, not as oten as i should.....thanks for remindeing me about that one! what i like about AC is not having to wait for offers. blogitive and blogads just don't seem to have many offers for me, so that has been frustrating. i thought about payperpost but then heard about the nix on BP blogs.....bummer. i really just need to get my ass in gear and start submitting to AC again. thanks for the tips! :-)
