Henna is a plant,a small shrub which grows very fast.The leaves are dried and made into powder.Its shelf life is one year.This herb is very useful in summer .

Henna powder is green in color .Soak it over night to make it paste. This gives reddish brown color . To make the color deep brown add tea leaves or coffee.

The tattoo design can be made by using a plastic paper in the shape of a cone. Any design can be made with henna.

Henna can be used for strengthening the hairs. Add curd to the paste and apply on hairs after 12 hours. Leave it for 2 hours. Wash after that. Henna acts as a hair conditioner for one month .

Henna can also be applied on the feet for cooling effect to the brain Henna also stops falling of hair.

Henna is applied on the hands and feet of bride on the day of marriage and other special days in the form of painting or tattoo.
