HELP! My Computer has been Raped!

Submitted by ms zola on December 18, 2007 - 2:56pm.

This is getting to be ridiculous. While browsing the WEB, my computer is suddenly besieged by spyware, adware, advertising and heaven knows what else. It should be illegal for any company to attach anything to my computer without my permission.

My computer is in my home. How can any person invade my computer any more than they can invade my home or my person? I have not given anyone permission to attach anything to my computer.

Lately, there is a new advertising scheme that suddenly appears, it has transcended the pop-up blockers, firewall, virus protectors and everything else on my computer. I don't always know when it has appeared except my computer slows to a snail's pace. Then, when I am closing the browser, there are the ads all stacked up and waiting for me.

Listen up....I DON'T WANT YOUR STUPID ADS ON MY COMPUTER. I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR ART GALLERY OR ANYTHING ELSE YOU ADVERTISE BECAUSE NO MATTER HOW MUCH I MAY HAVE WANTED IT IN THE PAST? I WON'T BUY IT NOW!!!!

The thing is...I just browse...I don't download. When I discover the ads, I have to go to my computer and delete the programs that don't belong there. It cost me time and my time is valuable.

So please....someone make a law somewhere which would fine these intruders...give them jail time if they invade my property at any time or anywhere...even on the net.

I think that it has gotten a lot worse these days. My virus ware is always popping up with an alert that there is spyware trying to get on my computer. Every day now. I used to only get this warning maybe once in a few months.

It has gotten worse...much worse and it is getting more and more difficult to get to the sites where I want to shop or read because of the "invasions".

That is what is happening and it is wrong for anyone to just add an attachment to a computer without obtaining permission first!
