Health in the Next 100 Years
I write several health blogs. I have been writing a lot about heart health, and the fact that today's 40's can expect to live far into their 90s. IN fact, when we turn 60, we will be as healthy as our parents were when they were 40. This is so prominent, that some countries, such as the UK, have moved the retirement age from 65 to 70.
This is not necessarily because of surgery and medical advances, but a return to herbs and natural medicines, as well as healthy eating.
Not all of these are lost ancient secrets. Some were found accidentally in our daily food, such as Curcumin. The curcuminoids are polyphenols and are responsible for the yellow color of turmeric. In short - researchers have discovered that it cures cancer.
There are also other discoveries, such as peppermint as a strong defense against flu symptoms and the strep throat that makes it difficult to take care of yourself.
The important thing is to start learning. Education is the 'secret' to a long life.
