Happy Thanksgiving

This week has gone pretty well. I had Gemzar (a chemo drug) on Monday and it went all right. Ibegan a new anti-nausea drug that is working very well and doesn't make me as sleepy. I'm tired, but at least alert. I had my Neulasta shot yesterday to keep my white cell count up, but am having some bone pain today. That should go away by tomorrow. I feel like my whole life revolves around my treatment schedule, medications and what not. But that's the way it has to be.

I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I think it is my favorite holiday of all. There is no hustle and bustle. No commercialism. Just enjoying time with family, giving thanks and counting our blessings. We have so many things to be thankful for. It's too bad we only have Thanksgiving once a year.
