Right now Africans in the Sierre Lione region make baskets the same way South Carolina blacks do. I honestly could give a fuck about Kwanzza, or the Rebel flag debate. The reparations issue is undercooked in my book because slavery isnt really over, (its been institutionalized). I dont mean any disrespect but can someone tell me what Coretta Scott King did for the (movement), and does it really deserve more recognition than Medgar Evers, or Harriet Tubman (the real matriarch of the civil rights movement). I like the idea of black people making a delicacy out of the scraps we were given at one point in our history, only to sell it to white people in power lunches now. If your white and interested, the (n) word is of no concern or consequence to your insulated ears. I dont agree with its use in front of you because it is offensive looking at it from the outside. I can only say that if reparations is such a joke to you, (you will) at the very least leave us alone about how we address one another. I think over 400 years of free labor dictates weather or not you have a say in the matter, and considering the labels you've given us that dont apply, and the growing number of white rappers(i suggest you let it rest).
