Hair Loss

If you are loosing hair (for no apparent reason, after consulting with your doctor) there are a few things that you can try:
-massage your scalp at least once a day, with your fingertips, in small circular motions (this will increase blood flow, and so bring more oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicles)
-only use hair products that are free of chemicals
-avoid hair dye
-avoid food that is fried, greasy, has colourings, preservatives and flavourings
-eat fresh green vegetables, fruit and food rich in essential omega oils (eg. nuts, oily fish)
-eat a good multivitamin that also contains iron (a deficiency in iron can lead to hair loss)
