I'm in desperate need of a haircut, but it's so hard to find the time! Okay maybe I don't want just a haircut, a little color would be nice too ;). I'm what I call a hair camelion- I love chaning my hair color, at least in the past I've loved to. Nowadays all I really want is to go back to my natural color. Maybe my natural color slightly enhanced, just to make it more vibrant and shiny.

I went red sometime ago, and have not been able to rid myself of it. I now know things that a brown haired girl hardly thinks of. For instance, have you ever noticed how great brown hair looks with red clothes? Brown hair looks just fine with practically any color clothing, red however does not!! No no, red hair means red and pink look like crap on me.

I'm hoping my stylist will say "oh it's no problem I'll have you back in brown within the hour!" That's my hope, but it's not what I'm expecting. I guess I'll see when I finally make an appointment and go!

ROFL! I have been every naturally occurring color, including black and grey (long story, that is), and several unnatural colors.

Here's my rule of thumb. Don't wear shades that match your hair color. Blondes look worst in yellow and white. Black hair looks awful in black and grey. Redheads can't wear red or pink. Grey's are kind of immune to this, but still, their worst color would be white. Brunette, out of all the colors, can get closest to wearing their haircolor (or any shade of brown) but it's still going to be their worst color.

Now like any rule of thumb, there are exceptions, but overall, anyone who tells me I am completely off-base, I'd urge them to REALLY look at their wardrobe with a critical eye and see whether that's the best color for them.

(And a short side note. I am finally back to my original color after coloring my hair since I was 12.)

I agree with the "Intricate Color Theory"! Skin tone plays a big roll too :)
