If you're neither allergic to orange juice, nor bananas, this is for you! Just drop a banana into the blender and add a cup of OJ. Blend about a minute or until liquefied and frothy.
I did this just this morning, at which point I realized this belonged in my Life & News Weblog.
Tastes just like a milkshake, fills you up, satisfies your sweet tooth, and keeps you going several hours.
Will apple cider work just as well? I don’t know. I’ll be curious to find out (Write me!). I’ll tell you this, though: I’ve tried adding berries to the mix. It’s OK, but I really prefer the plain version.
Oh, and I’ve tried eating a banana and drinking a cup of orange juice to see if it’s the same thing. Not even half as satisfying! This is really filling. Why even bother with the expensive diet drinks?
