Go Ahead....Quote Me

“For the Lord is full of compassion and mercy, long-suffering, and very pitiful, and forgiveth sins, and saveth in time of affliction. Ecclesiasticus, 2:11

"We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. Thornton Wilder

What treasures am I talking about that makes me alive? The treasure I have in realizing that my God is full of compassion, mercy, long-suffering and very pitiful and forgiving of sins and he saves me in my affliction! That's enough to keep me up and running for an eon. My point is highlighted by quotes!
College students, a lot of people will tell you that a quote goes a long way. Some of the best speakers, professors and writers frequently quote another that eloquently expresses the emotion that they are experiencing or shows in graphic description the idea that they are trying to communicate. I frequently use them myself. I use them in some of my best work...tee hee. My first college paper that received an A was built around an entire quote.

Perhaps you are looking for quotes from a specific speaker? You need a reputable site to go to. Well. The Discount Mart has recently added an extensive quotes section to their site. It covers a wide range of topics and has almost anything you could wish to hear, read or write. The quotes that I used above are from the site. You should check it out.
Sure you put what you write in great terms..but you can break the ice with a quote..especially if its from a familiar speaker. You can build entirely new ideas with one quote. Think about it. And you can quote me on that!
